Rocky Mountain High

A tract house design with no charm or character sat on a stunning piece of land in the Winter Park ski area.  The homeowners wanted to keep it small but upgrade the finishes. Sarah Susanka, author of the Not So Big House would approve. Not afraid of color, the homeowners chose custom blue kitchen cabinets with Squak Mountain light weight concrete countertops and a walnut chopping block. We took just 12″ out of a guest bedroom adjacent to the kitchen to create 35 square feet of new pantry storage.
