Built on the same site as the family’s original home, the homeowners went very modern and very earth friendly on the re-build. Cabinetry by American Loft fit both stylistically and environmentally. The island is thermofoil and the countertop is made from  post-consumer beer bottles in a concrete base by Vetrazzo. Perimeter cabinets are CVG Fir with an espresso stain and water-based finish. Second photo shows the mud room/pantry which is across the hall and in view from the kitchen.
